*  SunRice Long Grain White Rice 5kg 1/2 PRICE Was $13.00, Save $6.50  Now $6.50 each

*  Sorbent Toilet Tissue 12 Pack 1/2 PRICE 38¢ per roll. Was $9.00, Save $4.50 Now $4.50 each

WOOLWORTHS -

*  Pantene Shampoo or Conditioner 500ml Now $5.49 each 1/2 Price, Save $5.50 

*  ’Oreal Elvive Shampoo or Conditioner 250ml Now $2.90 each 1/2 Price, Save $3.09  

*  1/2 Price on Dove products.  The catalogue didn't show a photo of the soap so I'm assuming it's not on sale.

*  Pine O Cleen Disinfectant 1.25 Litre Now $2.49 each 1/2 Price, Save $2.50

    Dove soaps were on the specials stand at the end of the isle in my Woolworths so I think they were half price too" I was in a hurry and didn't have time to check properly

    Thankyou Wendy,
    I've been out this morning for the half price specials from the big 2. It makes me Sooo.....happy when I see the receipt at the bottom and the amount spent is the same amount I've saved.
    I purchased toothpaste,Twinnings tea bags(extra strong, I love a strong cup of tea, my vice), disinfectant, toilet paper,deodorant,Ryvita crackers, rice and picked up some tinned tomatoes which I had rain checked . I think you have mentioned it before but it is worth noting to always check the use by dates when purchasing edibles in multiples.
    It probably sounds silly to get excited about specials shopping, but I love it and looking at the pantry after I've put it away makes me smile.

    I bought fifteen 1/2 price cans of Campbell's Tomato soup yesterday at Woollies. At 97 cents each it was a bargain!

    Not sure if this is for every Woolworths store or not, but a big clearance of Rio underwear was at our store tonight. It was an assortment all $2. We bought boyleg women's 5 packs, also some bikini 5 packs, singlets in colours for women, trainer socks asst colours 7 pk, there were childrens and boys items there too. These were not markdowns, but bulk clearance items in a cardboard pallet type big container in the middle aisles (near freezers in our store) where they feature different displays or products. We were very pleased with our haul!

    Yes, we got the packs of 5 Rio undies for $2 a pack on the weekend and the teens in our house have been wearing them, so they must be ok!

    Hi Wendy
    Just visited Coles for the large jar of Vegemite for $7. I got three jars...yes I like Vegemite lol.... It was $1.23 or 4 cents per 100 grams. I don't think we will see that price for a while as the price tag on the shelf under the specials tag showed quite clearly that it has gone up to $7.99 per jar.
