For those who are finding it hard to make ends meet at Christmas, this story will inspire you to have the best Christmas possible no matter what your budget is.
Hello Readers, my name is Wendy. I am a happily married mother of two adult daughters and three grandchildren. Together with my husband we are living an abundant life through growing some of our own vegetables and fruit, cooking and baking everything we can from scratch and being mindful of what we use and buy. God has blessed us abundantly. We try to be good stewards of those blessings.

ReplyDeleteHi Wendy, not fair, now your teasing me, can't wait!!! Bring on Monday, xxx
ReplyDeleteI hope they do air your story where we live on Monday, all of last week I flicked over to that channel as we always watch a current affairs and even though the tv program said it was meant to be on , it was replaced with border security. I guess I can always go direct to their website.

Hi Wendy, i know you are very busy, but will you be posting your menu plan at some time on the site?
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, Maureen
I'll try to get something up soon.
DeleteHi Wendy,
ReplyDeleteCant wait for tonight's interview!!
Just a question, do you buy your girls Christmas presents? If so what kind of gifts would you buy?
I buy things for their room, perfume, baking utensils / trays etc, shower gels, pjs etc.
DeleteHi Wendy, A great interview tonight. You show how it can be a great Christmas even on a tight budget, well done. I admire your positive outlook and the way you help people. Blessings to you and your family for the festive season and I look forward to more great tips in the future.

Thankyou so much for your comment. I LOVED filming this story.
DeleteHi Wendy, i think this story was your best yet! Loved this story!!! I've already watched it three times. Hope there will be more stories next year, Thanks, Maureen
ReplyDeleteLoved the story - you give such great advice Wendy! I'm impressed you buy ahead so far! Up to two years is amazing forward planning. I'm sure the empty wrapping paper rolls (cylinders) would make great covers for those bon bons. Do you put cracker pulls in them or just tear them open? Think I missed it on story if you do.
ReplyDeleteNo I didn't put cracker pulls in. They cost extra and don't always work.
DeleteGreat! I'm making them next year thanks so much for your ideas Wendy. I've got some bon bons already from last years clearance for this Christmas.
DeleteLoved this story.
