  1. There's some great specials there for me this week Wendy, thanks! I would just add that many fruit barns now have an 'ugly produce' section where they sell wiggly carrots, spotty fruit, and misshapen sweet potatoes for under $1 a kilo. It's worth checking your local one out. Love, Mimi xxx

  2. Just a note re Listerine: the mouthwash from Aldi is almost identical, the difference being Listerine has sweetener (which actually used to be sugar, go figure) as an ingredient, the Aldi version doesn't. Otherwise the ingredients and quantities are identical. Listerine is more than double the price. If you use mouthwash and can get to an Aldi then try theirs. If you don't like it you can go back to Listerine and all you've spent is $2.29.

    1. Thanks for the tip Cath, I wouldn't be surprised if listerine company actually make Aldi version of the mouth wash. Mum works for Davies bakery and they make the bread for Aldi (aldi recipe) :D

    2. Interesting info Cath. We only buy the Listerine when it's $1 a bottle. If we need it other times. I'll buy from Aldi.
