Abundant Cottage Adventures Thursday 26th March 2020

Here's a list of what we completed on Thursday -

*  Picked rosemary from the garden and now have it drying in paper bags.

*  Picked a handful of raspberries,  a few strawberries and a handful of beans.

*  Dusted all surfaces in our home.

*  Watched Downton Abbey the movie on tv last night with Darren.  We are big fans of the series and movie.

*  Had dinner outside on the deck with the family and enjoyed the mild weather.  Tuna Casserole was on the menu.

What did you do on Thursday ?

  1. Just wanted to say how much I admire your blog and your wonderful attitude to life and your support for your family. My son and his family were due to emigrate to Australia last week but missed the cut off by a day. Luckily his old job took him back and apparently his new employer in Australia still wants him in 6 months or whenever normality returns x I like to read about how you manage and your shopping costs etc as he has a young family. All the very best to you and your family, you are copers so I am sure you will come out of this stronger. x

  2. felt disheartened at the lack of stock at local WW. Our local Coles where I usually go is closed for renovation. I had to go to a very expensive IGA (Leo's) to get the basics. It's OK, we can afford for now, but I will be glad when supermarkets return to normal.

  3. I had told myself that I was saying home but I didn't even last 24 hours. Being mum's carer is tough as she is so negative. I am working on having lots to do and things that I like to do. I was very relieved to read that you are set for nappies and formula. I am relieved that my granddaughter is toilet training. That will make life easier.

  4. I enjoy your blog greatly. And am sorry to hear your husband lost his job and you lost half your cleaning work! Much too much stress for everyone these days. I wish you the best and hope that this time can bring good things into our lives along with the stress ;)
