Tonight at 7.30pm I'll be making my debut as a special guest on a YouTube channel called The Cheapskates Club. It's Cath Armstrong's channel and she is the founder and owner of the online savings group The Cheapskates Club.
Together we'll be talking all things grocery shopping, menu planning, shopping lists and our grocery budget. I'll be explaining how I spend just $37.50 ( $150 a month ) for all our food, basic toiletries and cleaning ingredients.
Please join us for this live chat and if you have any questions for us, have them ready.
It was lovely seeing you on the Cheapskates show tonight , fantastic tips Wendy . Thankyou
ReplyDeleteA delightful interview ... thank you! Here's the direct link to the video (you need to go to her LIVE tab, it's not in the regular videos): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XV7mwq4Hbtc -- Madelyne
ReplyDeleteJust caught the last bit! I will try to catch up tonight. Well done ladies, so much practical help for people.
ReplyDeleteThankyou Jenny
DeleteThis was a wonderful show with my 2 favourite budgeting inspirations. You’ve both been such great role models for me. I hope one day to be able to pass on wisdom like the both of you beautiful Titus 2 women. Kirsty
ReplyDeleteThankyou Kirsty. Passing on wisdom can change the course / path of a family for the better. That's why I keep doing what I do even when there is backlash and judgement.
DeleteIt’s so sad that you receive such negative comments. You and Cath seem to be the only ones that talk any sense these days. How horrible people can’t just be kind and take or leave the advice.
DeleteHello Wendy I really got a lot out of tonight’s talk Thank you to Cath and yourself. It has restored my faith that if I just keep working towards saving as much as I can my husband and I will be able to enjoy our retirement guilt free. I am hoping to learn to make your bread but I don’t have a bread maker. Can the recipe be made in the oven successfully please.
ReplyDeleteI wish you the very best as you work towards retirement. I've only ever used a stand mixer, proper bread tins and the oven to bake our bread. Once you've done it a few times it becomes quite easy to do. Just make sure the water you add is warm without being hot. Hot water kills off the yeast and the bread won't rise.
