* We watched our church service online through YouTube on our tv.
* I made up a 2 litre bottle of foaming hand wash. I used shower gel and cooled boiled water.
* Megan and I brightened up our home with Easter decorations.
* Darren and I went for a drive to the beach. We sat in our car in the car park and had a lovely afternoon tea of grapes, cheese, dry biscuits, ANZAC biscuits and a cup of tea.

Yes, our Church service has gone on line, there were a few tech issues at first, but yesterday was great. It is good how you can break into groups at the end and say Hi to a few friends. I enjoy it. Kept on muddling on here, few groceries today (Monday) some exercise and plenty of cleaning. Best wishes to you all. Tania in Hawthorn
ReplyDeleteHi Wendy,
ReplyDeleteI spent the early morning in the veggie patch. Then I went on-line for church. Then I decided to 'church-hop' and 'attended' my cousin's church on-line, as the service started just as my church's finished.
After that I made 'magic cake' as I had some eggs I wanted to use up and that recipe takes four eggs, and in the late afternoon I went back out into the garden again.
Your Easter decorations are lovely as are your roses on the dining table.
Yesterday was a difficult for me. My mother is very negative and I get depressed. Corona virus news 18 hours a day is too much for me. I paddled around doing little jobs. I do try to keep Sunday as a day of rest. It is an uphill battle though.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Can you keep your mum busy doing other things to give the tv a break ?
DeleteIt was absolutely gorgeous weather here, so we were in the garden all day, and now I have a very light tan!
ReplyDeleteI weeded the strawberry bed in 10-minute intervals (I have a weak spot in my back, which is expressly excluded in my health insurance policy, so I need to take care)
hung 3 loads of bed linen laundry
husband and dds washed both cars
we did a 15-minute workout with a tv show (Nederland in Beweging - every day on Dutch national television. Aimed at elderly and infirm people, it's very gentle, but you do notice!).
Hi I'm not sure where you live but I know its Victoria, Driving to the beach or anywhere else just for fun is against all the restrictions and carries a $1600 fine. Not something you should be telling your readers about.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't realise it was illegal if we didn't get out of the car.
